‘Zastani’ means ‘stop for a while’ in Croatian, and is a fitting name for this lovely vila, offering 6 self-catering apartments for rent in exactly the kind of special place where you would want to stop for a while.

It is in a sleepy little forgotten hamlet, nestled among woodland, on a secluded part of the beautiful Istrian Coast, that has a feeling of remoteness, even though it is easy to reach from the main coastal road (Pula airport is 45 minutes away and Rijeka Airport 1 hour away).

And there are 2 tranquil wild beaches within easy reach. The sea is only 250m away. The smallest beach is 5-10 mins walk away; the biggest beach is about 15-20 mins walk through the woods.

So if you are looking for peace and quiet, and to take a break from all your worldly worries, come to Vila Zastani… and stop for a while…

The owner, Farid, runs the guesthouse, living in a separate apartment at the property and is available to provide assistance and advice when needed.

Digital Nomads

Vila Zastani is an ideal location for Digital Nomads in Croatia, seeking peace and quiet to be able to focus on their work and enjoy their downtime. Long term rentals at reduced rates are available between November and May, and can be negotiated with the owners.

House Rules

  • Minimum stay 7 nights.
  • Earliest check in time is 14:00.
  • No smoking indoors but ok on balconies and terraces.
  • Pets/animals not allowed.
  • Children under 12 not allowed.
  • Children over 12 allowed if the rule below is respected.
  • Vila Zastani is situated in a very secluded and quiet setting, and we request that all guests respect that tranquility by refraining from making excessive and unnecessary noise, so that all visitors can enjoy the peacefulness offered by this special place.

Surrounding area

Vila Zastani is in a remote, secluded location which is very rare and special in today’s busy, overcrowded world but, as a result there are not a lot of facilities in the nearby area. The nearest restaurant is 10 minutes by car and the nearest shop 15 minutes by car.
